State Department celebrates Losar

The 4th Tibetan Losar Celebration was hosted by the U.S. State Department on February 21, 2018.

Key guests at the event included Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy, Steve Goldstein, Ambassador-at-Large, Sam Brownback, former Ambassador to Mongolia, Jennifer Zimdahl Galt, Representative Ngodup Tsering, and former Under Secretary and Special Coordinator, Sarah Sewell. The event was coordinated by the International Campaign for Tibet.

Attendees enjoyed Tibetan musical and dance performances, traditional Tibetan food and drink, and a beautiful Losar altar display. Happy Losar from CATA!
